There's too much for me to know about

On a serious note, this blog would like to offer up its best wishes for a speedy recovery to Wee Jimmy Krankie.

I know you shouldn't laugh at this kind of thing, but I'm sorry. I can't help it.

Nothing at all weird about the Krankies is there? I think it's perfectly normal for a man to perform with his 57 year old wife dressed up as a schoolboy. Perfectly normal.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

I saw a documentary recently that spent some time following them around - a "where are they now?" type thing. They were doing a stage act at some caravan site somewhere when (as part of the act) Mr Krankie accused Wee Jimmy of being "sick" and was met with the response: "Me? Sick? I'm no the wan dressin' my wife up as a schoolboy!"

In addition - there's a Scottish soap actor called Gary Hollywood? That must have been a long meeting with his agent trying to decide on that stage name... still, the benefits are clearly being reaped - today, panto in Glasgow, tomorrow, the world!

    Fan-dabbie-dozie!

I have no idea how it's actually spelt. No doubt it's on their site that I haven't checked...

Hey, hang on a minute. Their act is for very little children. I don't think that the normal rules of taste, humour and dignity apply, do they?

    Never could stand them myself.
