I have to admit that the whole thing about the US elections fascinates me.

Was Jesus soft on crime? Could he be trusted in the war on terror?
Should Voldemort stand for the Republicans?
Does George W. Bush really look like a chimp? (and the evidence here is compelling)
Our election is never this much fun (although we do have batman raiding Buckingham Palace and a bunch of upper class wankers defending their right to let their dogs disembowel an animal that poses no threat to anyone)

I don't think we should make hunting a class issue. Just an idiot issue.
It's like this... the anti-banning argument goes that jobs will be lost. So, apparently if jobs are ever lost, that means it's wrong. Should we follow this argument to its logical conclusion and bring back slavery?
What bugs me even more is that right-of-centre types are far better at organising things than left-of-centre types. I once went on an march. 150,000 people. No trouble. No headlines. But every time the Countryside Alliance organises anything (usually with far less people than that), they get maximum publicity. Is it friends in high places, or just better organisation?

A lot of them are upper class twits though ("I've never broken the law in my life and I'm being criminalised! This won't stop us!")
Point taken though - and to be fair, at the Olympics last month I was probably cheering on some upper class types on horses.

Don't know if you know this already, but Goats (which the t-shirt is from) is part of the fine Dumbrella stable of webcomics (http://www.dumbrella.com//ubb/ultimatebb.php) which includes my favourite of all, ScaryGoRound (http://www.scarygoround.com/).
