forget about your worries and your strife....

In May this year, a brown bear crossed the Alps from Italy into Germany. It was the first wild bear to be sighted in Germany since 1835.

So what did they do? The fuckers shot him.

Utter gobshites.

R.I.P. Bruno.

Just for that, I'm cheering for Argentina on Friday.

I know it's fucking nuts isn't it? Its kinda like if a load of horahs go off into the Cotswolds and start shooting red kites now they're back.

    Oi, No!

I would cheer on Argentina against Germany but only if they rack up loads of red cards and injuries. Deal?

It's like a freaking bear jamboree around here! Maybe they mistook him for the Hoff, trying to muscle in on some World Cup anthem action? The prospect of hearing 'Looking for Freedom' would have any right thinking person reaching for their shotgun.

Boo to the Germans. It only wanted some hunny! Unless he was trying to pinch their pickernic baskets...

    Germany v Argentina?

I suppose that in theory we both win and lose whatever happens, right?

The bear killing Bavarians swing it for me. That and the Argentines have played the best football to date. Anything but more from the Ukraine, to be honest.

Lord B picked a great game to watch, huh?

It sucks they killed Bruno, I agree...but they weren't having any luck trapping and removing Bruno, and I guess they didn't want to wait until he took out someone's small child.

I've struggled with this issue a lot because we get mountain lions who follow the deer into our fair neighborhoods (well, not mine yet). People look a lot like prey to predators.

I'll be rooting for the Argies too - would help quieten down the absolutely unfair ticket sales that means there are more germans per stadium than foreign fans who have travelled miles!\

Oh, and it means they can't bury tax hikes in the middle pages of the newspapers anymore.

    ahem

    ST,

I've sent my Shufflethon CD out into the big wide world today.

And when I got home, the CD that was sent to me was waiting for me.

    Phew. What an exciting day

    What a brilliant idea!

    Cheers!
