with your chrome heart shining in the sun
Congratulations to Lord Bargain, who today completed the Robin Hood Half Marathon in a shade over 2 hours. Full details over at his place in the near future, I should think.
Good effort mate.
(and to be fair, a good morning for England too...)

The bloke on the left has always struck me as having the air of an urbane and slightly self-satisfied lizard.
He's an absolute legend, of course, but how well known is he outside of his particular sphere? I'm curious....
So:
Pop quiz: do you know who he is? (if you do, a simple yes will suffice)
Do you know what he's famous for?
If you don't know - have a guess....

Congrats Lord B! I am impressed. :0)
As for the other fellow, I don't know him. To me, he looks like Donald Trump with a different hair do in this photo. *G*

I know who he is and what he is. But I am Australian. However, on the most part want to slap him and tell him to shut up. He's more annoying than my husband.
Oh, sacrilege!

Nice work, Lord B! Nice to see you got some tinfoil for your efforts too.
I know who he is - he's yoda - but have a small suggestion for the next time you do a mystery picture round - maybe better not to name the jpeg file after the person we're trying to guess the identity of.

I know the top fellow - and congratulations! on the marathon.
As for the bottom fellow...he looks familiar, but I couldn't name him or what he does.

Well, I know he's a cricket commentator, but I wouldn't have known his name without the jpg clue.
And I'm sure one my male friends has told me that he was a well known batsman or something like that. I assume for the English cricket team. ;o)

for the record, as well as being a legendary commentator, Richie Benaud was a great captain & leg-spinning all rounder for the Australian Test side in the 50s & early 60s. I think he was one of the first to the double of 2000 test runs and 200 wickets.
