Now no-one’s knocked upon my door for a thousand years or more....

Is it just me, or does it seem a bit quiet down our street at the moment? I was thinking of having another walk around the neighbourhood to see what's going on, but you've all been pretty quiet, and I'm not sure I like it.

Have you all gone on holiday or something? Maybe you have all gone and discovered a life in the real world? You know, with real people? Actually, perhaps I should be wondering whether there should be more to my life than reading about other people's lives. Is there nothing better I could be doing with my time?

Apparently not.

Anyway.

Where are you? Where are you? Let's be having you!

Well I'm back, and just catching up with everything.

Auntie Swiss? Fine idea. I just need to think of a question.

I never went anywhere! And you did not ask me for questions, but you asked OLS! I think it's because you don't even read my blog! I'm so upset! Can you tell! By the amount of exclamation marks I am using!

    **sigh**

I saw you ask the questions on your blog, and I also saw that OLS said you were really, really good at it. I also saw that you had loads of people ask you for questions, so I asked OLS, and was the first to ask.

Honestly! I'm about to publish your earworms and everything....

For reference, I should also point out that Mark has been massively prolific over the last few days as well..... all this in spite of holing up for a whole day to watch all 6 star wars films (my god man, you'll never get those 12 hours back!)

It's not my fault. I've been poorly. *cough cough*

And I'm cross that I missed out on the Auntie Swiss thing. I could have asked you your opinion on the best way to get rid of a nasty cough.

PS. Word Verification Word of the Day: 'Ukruqhoa'. Which I think you'll find is a volcano in Peru.

Bee (and indeed any of you) - you can ask auntie swiss a question any time you like, and I'll just seamlessly switch into auntie swiss mode.

Word verification. A necessary evil, methinks.

I don't know why but I just haven't felt like blogging lately. I think it's probably because I had the week off last week and I do most of my best blogging whilst in the office!
Well I'm back at word now so the blog should kick start soonish.

PS. Word Verification Word of the Day: 'XXOYW'. I'm sure that will come in handy when I'm playing Scrabble.

I'm feeling a bit uninspired over in the Grey City, I have to admit. Part of the problem is that so much of what's going on in my life relates directly to people who read my blog (including, but not limited to, Lordy B's impending hols) and I'm a bit paranoid about, say, slamming one of the actors in the workshop last weekend when odds are extremely high that they would read it and know exactly who I was talking about. And so my little ventilation forum has become a political quagmire, alas.

I've also decided to stop being such a whiney git. I mean, REALLY. As if I'm the only one who looks in the mirror and sighs piteously.

But if you take out neurotic winging and bitching about your nearest and dearest (and you're not particularly strong at the political commentary), what do you have left? I'll be reduced to posting pictures of my cat soon in the desperate attempt to post something, anything, new.

P.S. Ziusv. I like the vaguely pronouncable ones best.

Holiday, and now some computer problems at home (my monitor seems to be giving up the ghost). I'm back at work next Tuesday, though so there'll be plenty from me starting next week, I'm sure.
