righto - link modified, and yeah, it was bought with Glastonbury in mind (last year's tent was left in a bin on the mud infested festival site).... all dome tents are pretty easy to nick, this one erects in 2 seconds, but you still have to peg it down (you just don't have to feed any poles through or anything).
It made me laugh, because I was thinking how easy dome tents are to put up when compared to the old-fashioned style of tent... and yet here we are with a pretty much self-erecting tent, because hey, 5 minutes is just too damn long.
It is pretty cool though. You take it out of the bag, toss it in the air, and it pitches itself!
it's a good question - but yes.... the tent is 2.57m long, and I'm a mere 2m. They had one pitched in Decathlon, and I tried before I bought!
I also tested their 2 second claim in the garden when I got home, and frankly it might even be less than that (although as I said above, that's just getting the tent out and up, not including the pegging and stuff, which will add a whole extra minute!
Last year we had one of those single-layer jobs, and to be fair, it was a wet Glastonbury and it kept the rain out.... but they don't factor in condensation, and you live in mortal fear of touching the sides of the tent. This one is safely two layered!
"Don't be afraid," my voice said. "No one is allowed to die more than once. The comedy will be over soon, and you'll never have to go through it again."

The link appears to be dead... at the minute, anyway.
Incidentally, if this is for festival purposes, bear in mind that quick-pitch tents are very easily stolen...

This may be a redundant question, but does 6'5" fit in that?
