you are only coming though in waves

There's nothing like knowing that you must lie absolutely still for making you want to scratch you nose, to adjust the position of your arms, to cross and uncross your legs, to discover that there is something in your eye and desperately want to rub it.... to shout and sing and scream my name out! Hava Nagila! Hava Nagila, ha ha ha! Oh, I'm alive! Look out. Oh, I'm alive! I'm alive! Hello birds! Hello trees! I'm alive!

....and after 75 minutes it was all over, just as I reached 'OHMSS' on the CD, which was nice.

Results next week, I suppose.

75 minutes is a very long time.

Glad you made it through, ST. Not hard to figure out why people are prone to freaking out in those things, hey?

Was thinking of you today and jsut swung by to see how it went. Glad to see you got through it without shouting 'cornholio!'

Blimey, you've done it! I hadn't even caught up with the CD choices - a make-your-own compilation is a fab idea as well. Wish I'd thought of that when my mum was being MRIed.

    Good luck for the results.

Glad it went smoothly, and I know what you mean. I've been through it twice now, and I remember feeling twitchy too. *G*

    Fingers crossed for good results!

It's done and now you have a nice CD of music that doesn't make you dance as a souvenir.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that's it's all something minor and easily adjusted.

    Spin - that's clever.

ST - hooray! Now you can not-dance whenever you want to!

red - if you'd seen me dancing, you'd understand what a loss to the world that would be.

Glad it's done. I know it's something you had to do, but consider it an achievement nonetheless.

...and for a tenuously related item, check my blog in about ten minutes' time...

Oh man! Hope everything is okay! I haven't been reading for a couple of weeks, so I came back to find all sorts of stuff happening in your life.

I had to have an MRI a few years back - I didn't get to have a CD playing though, I just had to listen to the radio. Thankfully I fell asleep.

I know I'd freak if I started to have problems with numbness, so I'm truly glad for you that it seems to be something temporary. And hopefully something that won't be repeated.

75 minutes is a long time to lie still. Well done!

My dad had to have a scan when he was in hospital last year. Unfortunately it hurt him so much to lie flat on his back (he had pneumonia and one of his lungs was almost completely out of action) that he had to go under a general anaesthetic for the duration.

OK - so where are the pictures of the interior of this most revered bloghead ? We - your loyal public - demand, yes Demand! to see the inside of your mind. Publish and be da*ned, Sah!

I think I'd better lie down.
